What is a trusted device?
A trusted device is your main mobile device that you’ve verified and confirmed as yours. We use it to send login approval requests when there’s a login attempt from a new device.
Trusted devices are currently available on iOS only. We’ll expand support to other platforms soon.
Which device can become my trusted device?
Your trusted device must be a known and registered main mobile device linked to your account. You must be Singpass verified (SG) and mobile verified (all other markets) to enable trusted device on the main mobile.
Right now, only eligible iOS devices can be set up as a trusted device.
What happens when I log in on a new device?
If you already have a trusted device, we’ll send a login approval request to it. Open the Carousell app on that device and approve or reject the login.
This experience is currently available for new iOS device logins.
