[Hong Kong] Listing Quotas and Fees for Autos, Property & Services
Free listing quotas are applicable to listings in Autos & Property categories.
Due to the business/professional nature of Services listings, there are no free listing quotas and sellers will have to pay a fee to list in Services category.
By doing so, we aim to encourage quality listings and reduce listing spam in the marketplace, making it easier for buyers to find what they want. Now that buyers can find the item they want faster, sellers benefit too!

For listings in categories that have free quota, sellers have the option to turn on auto-renewal. When auto-renewal is turned on, your listing will automatically renew once it expires, provided you have an available free quota to be utilised.
How does quota refresh window work?
Each free listing quota refreshes on a rolling window basis of 30 to 60 days. You utilise a quota when you create a new listing or mark an inactive/reserved listing to active. After 30 to 60 days from when you have expensed your quota, the quota will be refreshed for you to utilise again.
When you have utilised all your free quota in a category, you will not be able to list or mark as active for listings in that category unless you:
- Wait for the next quota to be refreshed based on the rolling window
- Pay a fee for each additional listing outside of your given quota
Note: Deleting or marking a listing as sold/reserved does not free up the used listing quota.
What is listing validity?
Listing validity refers to the number of days which your listing will remain active for. After which, the listing will expire and a quota or listing fee will be needed to activate it again.
A banner will appear 7 days before to notify you that your listing is about to expire. From there, you can choose to extend the listing's expiry date by selecting the "Extend" button!
What happens when my listing is active or inactive?
Listings can be either active, inactive, reserved or sold.
Active |
Buyers can see these listings, make an offer or start a chat with you. Only active listings can be found and promoted on the marketplace. |
Inactive |
Listings that exceed quota will not be shown when buyers search or browse. You’ll not receive new chats or offers for them. |
Sold/Reserved |
Listings that you've marked as sold or reserved can be seen on your profile, but buyers can no longer make an offer or chat with you. |
