[Philippines] Listing Fees and Quotas for Autos, Property and Jobs

The number of free ads you can post and the cost of succeeding ones vary depending on the category you're in. Here's a quick guide to ad posting limits and the listing's validity per category.

This is applicable to the Philippines market only.

Quota is permanently used up once you’ve successfully listed or when you use your quota to mark an inactive listing as active. Deleting or marking a listing as sold/reserved does not free up the used quota

For listings in the Services categories, sellers have to pay a fee to list due to the business/professional nature of these listings. There are no free quotas for these categories. For these categories, sellers have the option to post ads and pay for listing fees that are valid for either 30 or 90 days.

For listings in categories that have free quota, sellers have the option to turn on auto-renewal. When auto-renewal is turned on, your listing will automatically renew once it expires, provided you have an available free quota to be utilised.

A banner will appear 7 days before to notify you that your listing is about to expire. From there, you can choose to extend the listing's expiry date by selecting the 'Extend' button!

How do listing fees and free listing quota work?

Carousellers listing an item for sale in Cars, Property and Jobs categories are entitled to free listing quota(s). When this quota is exceeded, a listing fee is required before your item is listed on the Carousell marketplace.

However, due to their business/professional nature, there are no free listing quotas for the Services-related categories.

By doing so, we aim to encourage quality listings and reduce listing spam in the marketplace, making it easier for buyers to find what they want. Now that buyers can find the item they want faster, sellers benefit too!

Does this mean I have to pay to list? How many free listing quotas do I have?

Every 30 days, you can list for free: 

• 1 listing in Cars for Sale
• 3 listings in Car Parts & Accessories 
• 3 listings in Special Vehicles
• 3 listings in Motorbikes
• 2 listing in Property for Sale 
• 2 listing in Property Rentals 
• 1 listing in Jobs & Opportunities 

All succeeding listings for these categories would require a listing fee.

Due to the business/professional nature of the Services-related category, all listings will require a listing fee. You will still able to list your items for free with no expiry in the other categories!

Why is my listing marked as “Draft”?

Listings are marked as draft when you exceed your free listing quota for that category. Draft listings are not visible in the marketplace.

Why is my listing marked as “Expired”?

Listings in these categories expire after 30 days:

• Car Parts & Accessories
• Special Vehicles
• Motorbikes
• Property for Sale
• Property Rentals
• Services
• Jobs & Opportunities

Expired listings are not visible in the marketplace. You may renew your expired listings using Coins.
