How do I sell on Carousell?

One of the easiest things to do on Carousell is to SELL! Here's a guide on how to sell your first item here on Carousell:

Mobile app

1. Launch the app
2. Select 'Sell' (the '+' icon) 
3. You'll be given the option to either take a photo on the spot or select a photo from your gallery. You can take/choose up to 10 photos.**
4. Fill in all the required fields on the form
5. Select "List it!" at the end of the form

Carousell Web*

1. Select "Sell" at the top right-hand corner of the page 
2. Select photos to represent the item you're selling! If your photo is too large, you will be prompted to resize it!
3. After you've selected each photo, select the green "Save" button found on the photo preview box **
4. Fill in all the required fields on the form
5. Select "List it!" at the end of the form!

If you're unable to select "List it!", it is probably because you did not fill in all the necessary fields. You'll be prompted with an error message that will tell you what's wrong.

Your item will then be posted in the marketplace! Your new item will be placed right at the top of the selected category.

*** Updated feature: Tap on 'List similar item' to list multiple items easily at one go! The attributes of the previous listing that you have created will be pre-filled except the image.

How do I receive payment from a buyer?

Carousell Marketplace
You will receive a Chat notification from your buyer if they are interested on your listing. Remind your buyer to 'Make Offer' and tap on 'Accept Offer' to seal the deal. Arrange meet-up at your convenience (we recommend within 5 days) to proceed with the deal. We advise you to remind and check-in with your buyer again before proceeding with meet-up. 

After the item has been passed to the buyer (or service completed) be sure to ask for the payment and remember to exchange reviews for the transaction! 

Advisory
Be hesitant and cautious if your buyer requests for your personal information an directs you to other links before your meet-up.
