[Malaysia] How to ship with Carousell Official Delivery
Carousell Official Delivery in Malaysia is available for doorstep delivery.
You can drop off your parcel with these couriers at supported collection points:
- SPX Express*
- Pos Laju
*SPX Express is only available for deliveries within West Malaysia. It doesn’t support deliveries in East Malaysia or deliveries between East and West Malaysia.

All required details for Carousell Official Delivery should be submitted within the Carousell app or website.
Shipping labels are generated automatically—you don’t need to create them elsewhere.
If a buyer asks you to visit external links, it could be a scam. Do not click, and report the user immediately.

Which courier can I choose?
You can choose between SPX Express and Pos Laju, depending on the delivery route and courier availability.
SPX Express is only available for deliveries within West Malaysia. It doesn’t support deliveries in East Malaysia or deliveries between East and West Malaysia.
If SPX Express isn’t available for your delivery route, you may still be able to choose Pos Laju where supported.
For East Malaysia deliveries, shipping is free for sellers.
How do I enable shipping with Carousell Official Delivery?
1. Upon listing an item, enable the ‘Buy’ button.
2. Under Deal method, select “Carousell Official Delivery”
3. Choose your preferred courier.
You can choose between SPX Express and Pos Laju, but do note:
SPX Express is free for sellers. If you choose Pos Laju, an additional fee of RM2.60 will apply. This fee may change from time to time.
Why is there an add-on fee for Pos Laju?
When you ship with Carousell Official Delivery, the buyer pays the delivery fee.
SPX Express is free for sellers. If SPX Express is available and you choose Pos Laju instead, an additional fee of RM2.60 applies. This fee may change from time to time. s different delivery providers charge different fees, there is an extra add-on fee if you select a provider other than the one with the lowest fee.
For East Malaysia deliveries, this add-on fee won’t apply as SPX Express isn’t available.
How will the add-on fee be deducted?
If you choose Pos Laju for deliveries in West Malaysia, the RM2.60 add-on fee will be deducted from your earnings.
This deduction will be shown clearly in your earnings summary for that transaction.
Does the buyer still pay for delivery if I choose Pos Laju?
Yes. Buyers pay for delivery when they place an order with Carousell Official Delivery.
If you choose Pos Laju, the buyer still pays the delivery fee. The Pos Laju add-on fee will be deducted from your earnings.
How do I drop off my parcel?
Make sure your item is packed securely in a single box or polymailer before dropping it off.
Before shipping, check that your parcel:
- Doesn’t exceed 30kg
- Doesn’t exceed 300cm when you add length + width + height
- Doesn’t exceed 180cm on any side
Then, confirm your return address and generate your shipping label.
Print the shipping label or write down the tracking number clearly on your parcel. Remove or cover any old labels before dropping it off at your selected collection point.
Orders will be automatically cancelled if no parcel drop-off is detected within 6 days from when the shipping label was created.
How do I track my parcel?
You can track your parcel status from your order details once shipping starts.
Tracking updates may take some time to appear after you drop off your parcel.
Items that will not be accepted for shipping
Apart from the list of prohibited items that cannot be sold on Carousell, couriers will not accept parcels that:
- Exceed 30kg
- Exceed 300cm when you add length + width + height
- Exceed 180cm on any side
- Contain credit cards or ATM cards
- Contain human or animal remains, or religious artifacts
- Contain firearms, swords or other weapons
- Contain living things
- Contain poisonous or toxic substances
- Contain examination certificates, passports or insurance documents that cannot be reproduced
- Contain written drafts, original films, tapes or film material that cannot be reproduced
- Contain flammable, ignitable or volatile items, such as fireworks, kerosene, gas canisters or paint thinner
- Contain cash, cheques, bills, stocks, other marketable securities, or any restricted or illegal substances
- Contain temperature-sensitive items that need to be stored in a controlled environment
