[Taiwan] Delivery fee invoice related issues
1. Will I receive an invoice for the delivery fee?
To cooperate with the electronic invoice issuance policy, Carousell kicks off buyer delivery fee electronic invoice notifications. When 7-ELEVEN receives the cash on delivery payments from buyers, Carousell will issue the delivery fee electronic invoices to buyers. The invoice amount is the TWD 60 delivery fee charged by 7-ELEVEN. If Carousell subsidizes shipping fees, the invoice amount should be TWD 60 minus subsidy/promo code value. If buyers receive full subsidy/apply free shipping codes, you will not receive delivery fee electronic invoices.
※ Please note that you need to update App to the latest version and fill in email/invoice carrier in order request page to receive the delivery fee electronic invoice notifications.
The system will send an electronic invoice issuance notification to the email you entered in the order request page. The E-invoice will be uploaded and retained in the integrated service platform within the deadline in accordance with the Ministry of Finance’s "Key Points for Implementation of Electronic Invoice". Buyers can also use the Ministry of Finance's electronic invoice integration service platform (hereafter called "E-Invoice Platform of MOF") to query invoice records. For environmental reasons, we will not actively provide physical invoices.
Individual electronic invoice (Duplicate invoice)
The system will give priority to the email saved when you fill out the order as the membership carrier for storing electronic invoices, and the buyer can also choose a common carrier (such as mobile phone barcode carrier or citizen digital certificate ID barcode carrier) to store invoices.
Business electronic invoice (Triplicate invoice)
If you need an E-invoice with a tax ID number, please select "Business electronic invoice" and fill in the tax ID number and company name correctly. The PDF file of the "certificate of an electronic invoice" will be sent with the electronic invoice issuance notification email. You can print out the PDF file and use it as an accounting voucher.
Invoice donation
By selecting "Donation", you can select the social welfare organizations from the drop-down menu. The "E-Invoice Platform of MOF" will send the award to the account of the designated donation unit. If the institution or organization preset by the system is not the organization to which you want to donate invoices, you can apply for a mobile phone barcode carrier on the "E-Invoice Platform of MOF". If you already have a mobile phone barcode carrier, you can set the recipient organization on the "E-Invoice Platform of MOF" by yourself.
Please note that once invoice donation is confirmed, we can't accept any types of change nor withdrawal. Paper invoices cannot be obtained if you choose to donate.
2. What is the invoice consolidation? How to consolidate the carrier?
"Invoice consolidation" refers to assigning all of your carriers under your name through a mobile phone barcode carrier or citizen digital certificate ID barcode carrier. You can check and manage all your E-invoices on the E-Invoice Platform of MOF. After consolidating the carrier of your E-Invoice, the Ministry of Finance provides you the services of invoice inquiry, automatic prize checking and notice sending if a prize is won.
Carousell membership carrier consolidation: Carousell applies "Cetustek invoice card" as the membership carrier platform. Please refer to Cetustek’s website for the consolidation.

3. Will someone notify me of winning the prize when using E-invoices? How to claim the prize?

(Note 1)※ If you have not registered your mobile phone barcode or citizen digital certificate ID barcode on the E-invoice platform of MOF, your E-invoices will be regarded as unsolidation. (Note 2)※ Carrier consolidation on the E-invoice platform of MOF is recommended. The winning prizes can be automatically matched through the platform. Prizes will also be directly transferred if you completed the registration of the prize-collecting account information. You don't need to pay more attention to keeping those invoices intact and checking the numbers while drawing. |
4. When will the electronic invoice for delivery fee be issued?
Carousell will issue an electronic delivery fee invoice notice to the buyer after we confirm that 7-ELEVEN receives the cash on delivery payments from buyers. The system will send an electronic invoice issuance notification to your Email within 7 working days.
5. Is it possible to reissue the electronic invoice issuance notice for delivery fees?
If you did not receive the electronic invoice issuance notification, please double confirm the email address you entered during the order request page. If you need us to resend the electronic invoice issuance notification, please contact Carousell Support Team with your registered email and provide the shipping code number and E-invoice recipient email address. Carousell will reissue the electronic invoice issuance notification within 1-3 working days.
6. If I fill in the email/mobile phone barcode/citizen digital certificate ID barcode incorrectly, can I modify the information?
If the email/mobile phone barcode/citizen digital certificate ID barcode information in electronic invoice is incorrect, please contact the Carousell Support Team within 10 days of electronic invoice issuance. Please remember to provide shipping code and the correct email/mobile phone barcode/citizen digital certificate ID barcode information to the Support Team. We will reissue the electronic invoice within 7 working days.
7. Is it possible to change a duplicate uniform invoice to a triplicate uniform invoice or donation?
We’re sorry to inform you that Carousell will issue invoices based on the type of invoice you selected in the order request page. After the order is established, other types of electronic invoices cannot be issued. Please decide the invoice type when filling in the order request page. For your reference, duplicate uniform invoices are for individuals and triplicate uniform invoices are for business. If you fail to select invoice donation in the order request page, we are not able to change the invoice to donation afterwards.
8. Can I modify the company name or tax ID number after receiving the triplicate uniform E-invoice?
If you need to change the header or tax ID number of your triplicate uniform E-invoice, please contact Carousell Support Team within 10 days of electronic invoice issuance and provide the shipping code number, correct company name or tax ID number. Carousell will reissue the triplicate uniform invoices. Please take note that the original invoice will be invalidated, and please use the new invoice for filing VAT reports.
※ If you modify the invoice, the invoice issue date will be the date when the invoice is reissued.
9. How to obtain a paper invoice? Can I change an existing E-invoice to a paper invoice?
For environmental reasons, Carousell will not actively provide physical invoices. You can print the "certificate of an electronic invoice" at the convenience store to redeem the prize.
If you do need to obtain a paper invoice, please contact Carousell Support Team within 10 days of electronic invoice issuance and provide the shipping code number and mailing address. The paper invoice will be handwritten by Carousell and be sent out by snail mail within 7 working days.
Please note that the original E-invoice will be directly invalidated, and paper invoices cannot be issued with the original E-invoice number.
