[Malaysia] Shipping: Do I need to pay the shipping fee?
As a seller, whether you need to pay the shipping fee depends on the delivery method selected for the order.
If you’re using Carousell Official Delivery
For Carousell Official Delivery, the buyer pays the delivery fee when they place the order. You can drop off your parcel with supported couriers, such as SPX Express and Pos Laju, depending on the delivery route and courier availability.
SPX Express
SPX Express is only available for deliveries within West Malaysia.
Pos Laju
If SPX Express is available and you choose to ship with Pos Laju instead, an additional delivery fee of RM2.60 will apply. This fee may change from time to time and it will be deducted from your earnings. The additional delivery fee only applies where SPX Express is available.
If you’re using courier arranged by seller
If you choose courier arranged by seller as the deal method, you can decide whether to:
- Offer free delivery by absorbing the shipping fee
- Set a custom shipping fee for the buyer to pay
The price of your listing should not include the shipping fee. You can add the shipping fee in the shipping fee section when setting up your listing.
Should I include the shipping fee in the price of my item?
No. If you’re using courier arranged by seller, add the shipping fee in the shipping fee section instead of including it in your listing price.
If you’ve enabled Carousell Official Delivery, the buyer pays the delivery fee when placing the order.
