[Malaysia] Pay with Atome BNPL!
Buy-Now-Pay-Later with Atome is only available for selected Certified listings in Mobile Phones & Gadgets.
Please ensure that you have already registered as an Atome user in Malaysia* and/or have downloaded the Atome app on your mobile phone. If you have not, you may sign up and download the app here or you may visit the Atome website.
*Do note that your Atome account must be registered in Malaysia. Atome users registered in other countries will not be able to proceed with this payment method and will encounter an error.

- Tap on “Buy” on the listing and select Atome as your payment method.
- Tap on “Place Order” and you will be prompted with a pop-up to proceed with your payment with Atome. You will be redirected to the Atome website or Atome app.
- Upon successful payment, you may return to Carousell and check the status on your order details page.
- If you exit the app without making payment on Atome, the order state will remain in pending. Tap on “Complete Payment” to access Atome. You have 60 minutes to complete payment before the order expires.

If your payment was unsuccessful or rejected by Atome, you will receive an error message.

Once you have placed your order, you will be redirected to the Atome website to make payment. Scan the QR code using your Atome app or login to your Atome account on Web.

Upon successful payment, you may return to your order details page to check on your order status.
What are the transaction limits for Atome?
Atome has a transaction limit set at RM 5000 for payment via credit card and RM 1500 for payment made via debit card. Atome has also a set of individual transaction limits which is set based on risk score on your own respective accounts. You may find more information on Atome’s help page.
Why did my Atome payment fail?
Your payment may fail due to the following reasons;
- You have exceeded the payment transaction limit
- You have exceeded your own credit card limit
- You have exceeded your card spending limit
- You have overdue payments
- A payment risk was detected.

If my order is cancelled or if I raise a return request, how long will it take to get my refund?
If you cancel your order or you raise a return request, the money will be refunded to your debit/credit card tied to your Atome account within 10-15 business days. For more information, please refer to Atome’s help page.
