What can I do if the other party's account is suspended?

If the user that you have been dealing with has got his/her account suspended, he/she has probably engaged in actions that are against the Community Guidelines.

This could range from listing prohibited items to misusing the platform.

As a first step, you may wish to check if the items that you were looking to buy are listed under Carousell’s list of prohibited items.

We would strongly advise users not to proceed with the transaction. If you have yet to transfer money to the user, hold on to your money till the issue is resolved.

Additionally, you may wish to check with the user personally if he/ she has previously left his/her mobile number or other means of communication with you.
