[Singapore] How do I disable Buyer Protection?
The ‘Buy’ button is introduced for a safer and more convenient way to buy and sell. . And as a seller, you should enable the ‘Buy’ button on your listings so buyers can pay via Carousell to confirm the deal. This ensures that you only deal with genuine buyers! You’ll receive your earnings once your buyer receives their order. We strongly encourage you to enable the ‘Buy’ button on your listings so that Carousell may also step in to assist you in event of a dispute.

However, we do understand that there may be certain circumstances where you might want to disable the ‘Buy’ button, for example if you would like to accommodate listings which are on a consignment or pre-order basis.
Note that if you choose to change your default ‘Buy’ button settings to Disable, delivery will be removed from all your listings and all past delivery options set will be lost.

To change your ‘Buy’ button default preferences, go to your profile page > ‘See all’ icon > ‘Selling preferences’ > ‘Buy’ button default > Disable 'Buy' button.
On web
Beside your profile name, hover over the arrow and select 'Selling preferences' > edit 'Buy' button default > Disable 'Buy' button

If you want to manage some parts of your past listings, you can do so through ‘Manage Listings’ and select which listings you wish to enable or disable the ‘Buy’ button.
