Why is my account restricted or suspended?
If you're seeing "Your account is no longer allowed to use our service", it could be that your IP is blocked. Check here to see if your IP address being blocked.
My account is restricted
If you see a pop-up box informing you that you have "Restricted Access", it means that your account is under review and your access to certain features has been restricted, but you can still chat with existing users.
A message should have been sent to your Support Inbox with more information on your account restriction. From there, you may lift your restriction by acknowledging the message. Simply tap on the 'Acknowledge' button and your account will be unrestricted. If you don't see an 'Acknowledge' button, it means that you're required to correct some actions requested, then reply to our Support Team's email sent to your registered email address.
An email with more information should have been sent to your registered email address. To locate your registered email address, simply go to your Carousell profile page, "Me", and select "Edit Profile". Your email address will be reflected under the email address section.
My account is suspended
In order to maintain a safe and trusted platform for our users, we may suspend accounts that violate either our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
