[Philippines] Everything you need to know about the DTI E-Commerce Philippine Trustmark
Starting December 31, 2025, professional sellers are encouraged to apply for a DTI E-Commerce Philippine Trustmark. This is a new requirement from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to help create a safer and more trustworthy online shopping environment for everyone.
Here’s what you need to know—and what to do.
What is the DTI Trustmark?
The E-Commerce Philippine Trustmark is a digital badge issued by the DTI. It recognizes online sellers who are committed to safe, fair, and trustworthy practices. You may apply for the trustmark via the DTI portal:
👉 Apply for the Trustmark on the DTI website
Once approved, your Trustmark will include:
✅ Your Trustmark certificate security number
✅ A unique QR code
✅ The official DTI Trustmark logo
You can add this information in your profile bio to help build buyer trust and show credibility.
What happens if I don’t get the Trustmark?
The application for DTI Trustmark is currently voluntary, however we will update the requirements accordingly based on updated regulations. We encourage all professional sellers to comply with the regulations to avoid any disruptions in your selling activity and apply early.
💡 What it means for you:
You show buyers you’re verified and responsible
You help protect buyers from fraud
You stay compliant with local e-commerce laws
