How do I report a user/listing?

See something against our Community Guidelines? Report it to us! Be the eyes and ears of our community to keep our platform a safe and pleasant marketplace for all.

You can choose to report a user or a listing.

Note: Reports are kept anonymous unless a direct follow-up from the reported is required

Mobile app

To report a user

  • Via chat
    1. Enter the chat you have with user
    2. Select "more" icon on the top right hand corner of the chat view
    3. Select "Report User" in revealed menu
    4. Select the appropriate reason for reporting
  • Via user profile
    1. Go to the profile of the user you want to report
    2. Select "more" icon on the top right hand corner of the user's profile
    3. Select "Report User" in revealed menu
    4. Select the appropriate reason for reporting

To report a listing

  • Via browse view
    1. Select "more" icon on the listing tile
    2. Select "Report Listing" in revealed menu
    3. Select the appropriate reason for reporting
  • Via listing view
    1. Select "more" icon on the top right hand corner of the listing view
    2. Select "Report Listing" in revealed menu
    3. Select the appropriate reason for reporting

Carousell Web

To report a user on the web

  • Via chat
    1. Enter the chat you have with user
    2. Select "Report User" on the bottom right (right below the user's profile)
    3. Select "Confirm" to confirm your user report

The option to report a listing is not available on the web at the moment.
