I'm still not receiving email notifications
If you turned on email notifications but aren’t receiving them, try these checks:
- Make sure your email address is verified. You’ll see an email badge on your Profile page once it’s verified.
- Check your junk or spam folder in case Carousell emails were sent there.
- Check your notification settings to make sure email notifications are turned on.
Email notifications for chats and offers depend on your account type.
If you’re using a normal account, you’ll receive a daily summary of unread chats and offers. You won’t receive immediate email notifications for each chat or offer.
If you’re using a professional account, go to ‘Settings and Privacy’ > ‘Notifications’ > ‘Transactions’ to check when you’ve chosen to receive email notifications. You can choose ‘Once a day’ or ‘As they come in’.
You won’t receive email notifications for chats or offers you already read.
New listing email notifications
We no longer send email notifications for new listings.
After you create a listing, you’ll see whether it was successfully listed on the listing success screen.
