How do I manage my push and email notifications?
To ensure you stay updated on your Carousell activity, we recommend checking your phone settings to confirm that notifications are enabled for the Carousell app.
You may also choose what updates you want to receive from Carousell by personalising your Push and Email notification preferences. Push notifications are currently enabled for our mobile app only, but you can choose to receive email notifications if you use Carousell on the web.
To toggle your preferences:
- Go to your profile ("Me" tab)
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Notification Settings”
- Toggle the notification settings accordingly
These settings are only available on app, so if you are a web user looking to manage your notifications and email preferences, please download the app.
Why can’t I turn off Transaction notifications?
Transaction notifications are notifications we’ve identified as important updates for users. These are notifications relating to chats, offers and reviews. As such, we have made it a requirement for these notifications to be enabled through at least one channel and users will not be able to turn this off completely.
