What is Carousell Garage?

Car owners rejoice! Add your car to your very own virtual Garage to see personalised vehicle insights. Know your vehicle better by letting us help you manage your LTA and other motoring matters. Keep track of your repayments such as your insurance, road tax and even fines.

If you’re looking to sell your car but don’t know where to begin, Carousell Garage offers suggested selling price based market information and even Scrap or Trade-In quotes (offers from dealerships), all for free.

Where can I find Carousell Garage?

Garage is currently only available on App (iOS and Android), please update your Carousell app to the latest version to enjoy this feature.

You will be able to find your virtual Garage under the “Me” tab:

The vehicles you add here will only be visible to you. Users visiting your profile will not see this.

How long does it take for Carousell to verify and retrieve my car information?

It should not take longer than 3 working days. If it has been 3 days and your car information is still not populated, it is very likely that you have entered the wrong information and we are unable to retrieve your vehicle’s information successfully.

Depending on your notification settings, you should receive either an email or push notification informing you that we failed to retrieve your vehicle information.

In this case, you will need to delete the vehicle card and add your vehicle information again. Ensure that your Vehicle Registration Number (i.e. License Plate) and Owner ID are correct.

For Owner ID, you are only required to fill in the last 4 characters of your ID, alphabet included (e.g. 123A).

Why is the suggested selling price/depreciation for my vehicle wrong? 

The suggested selling price and depreciation is calculated based on similar models that are found on Carousell. 

Depending on the condition of your vehicle and other factors like sub model (variant), ultimately, the selling price of your vehicle will be up to you to decide. The suggested price is just a recommended range, based on similar cars found on Carousell.

We will continue to work on refining our price suggestions to provide more accurate price suggestions and depreciation!  

Why don't I see a suggested selling price/depreciation for the car I added?

Depending on whether there are other people selling the same or similar cars, we may not have enough information to suggest a selling price for your vehicle. But fret not, you can request for a custom quote from our partner SwiftQuote for free!

I am expecting a fine. Why don’t I see the fine?

If the fine is not updated from the relevant authorities’ end, we will not be able to reflect this in the Garage. 

When in doubt, check directly via the authority’s portal e.g. HDB for HDB fines, URA for URA fines and OneMotoring for LTA fines.

Why is the road tax expiry date/LTA information for my vehicle wrong?

This information is populated from LTA based on the Vehicle Registration Number and Owner ID you have provided. If this number is wrong, you may want to check if you have provided the correct license plate.
