Carousell has partnered with Pace to offer instalment through selected sellers to offer 3 interest-free instalments the buyers.
1. What is Pace?
Pace is a platform that helps you pay for your purchase in 3 interest-free instalments. Carousell has partnered with Pace to provide buyers like you with the facility of easier payments, split across 3 months.
2. How do I pay with Pace?
Paying with Pace is super easy! No app downloads is needed, just inform the Carousell seller that you would like to pay with Pace, and the seller will send you a payment link. If you are a first time user, follow the steps on-screen to create your Pace account, enter your card details, and confirm payment!
3. Do I have to pay to use Pace?
There are no fees involved for use Pace to pay, the 3 instalments are interest free too!
4. How do I check my outstanding payments?
Just download the Pace app, and follow the steps to log in to your account. You’ll also be able to check your Pace account, to see the status of your payments.
5. How will I be charged for subsequent payments?
The payments will be charged to the same card you use on the same day for the next two months. E.g. you made a purchase on 15 Jan - the first payment will be charged on 15 Jan, second payment on 15 Feb and third payment on 15 Mar.
6. Can I change the card I initially used to transact?
Yes, you can change the card when you pay early! Follow the instructions in the app to change the cards.
7. Can I make payment early?
Absolutely! On the Pace Pay app, you’ll be able to see your outstanding payments, and an option to pay early for your outstanding payments.
8. What happens if I miss my payment?
There are no interests imposed if you fail to pay an instalment. However, if the payment is not received by the due date, an initial late payment of S$10 will be levied, and a further S$1 per day if the payment remains unpaid after the due date.
For each order below S$40, a maximum of one S$10 late fee may be applied per instalment payment. For each order of S$40 or above, the late fees of each instalment payment that may be applied are capped at 25% of the original order value or S$60, whichever is less.
9. Is it possible to increase or decrease the instalment duration?
Pace offers 3 instalment payments over but you can choose to pay the instalments early.
10. What is my transaction limit?
The Pace Buy Limit for every customer is SGD 3000 for credit cards and SGD 1500 for debit cards.
11. I want a refund, what do I do?
Please contact the Carousell seller to request for the refund. Individual sellers have their own refund policies. We are only able to process refunds initiated by sellers on behalf of you.
