We’re updating our account policy where Singapore users can only have one account on Carousell, unless expressly permitted. As the Carousell marketplace grows rapidly, with over 250 million listings across 8 markets, this policy helps us keep the marketplace a safe and secure one for you.
What can I expect if I have multiple accounts?
You will receive an email (at your registered email address) and a Carousell chat message from us. Details about your affected account and the deactivation date will be included in there. Only your primary account will be kept on the platform, while all other accounts will be deactivated. You’ll no longer be able to access deactivated accounts and all information, such as listings and chats, will eventually be deleted.

I still have some unused Carousell Coins in my accounts. What happens to them after my accounts get deactivated?
Unused Coins in deactivated accounts will be credited into your primary account within 3 working days after the deactivation. With a one-year validity period from the day of credit, you may continue to use these coins to purchase seller tools such as Bumps and Spotlight in your primary account!
What happens if I still have active chats or pending transactions in my deactivated accounts?
To minimise disruption to your transactions, we highly recommend you to recreate your listings and direct all chats from the deactivated accounts to your primary account as soon as possible. If you need more time to complete your existing transactions, let us know and we’ll assess your request on a case-by-case basis. We may retain or reactivate your account temporarily but you won’t be able to create new listings, and all existing listings will be hidden from the marketplace.
Can I migrate my listings from one account to another or merge accounts?
Unfortunately, that is not possible.
Will my ratings and reviews be transferred over to my primary account?
No, they can't be transferred over.
I cannot remember the login details of the other accounts mentioned. What can I do?
You may reset your password using your registered email address and a password reset link will be sent to you. If you’re unsure of the email address that is tied to a username, reach out to us and we’ll help you figure it out!
Can I appeal to have more than 1 account on Carousell?
We understand that every seller and buyer is unique and may have different needs. If you require more than 1 account on Carousell, let us know and we’ll assess your request.
