The money from your Carousell Protection orders will be shown as 'Pending Balance' once you tap on 'Item mailed out'.
Money in Pending Balance cannot be transferred to your bank account yet. It can only be transferred into your bank account when it is in Available Balance.
If this is your first time using Carousell Protection, please make sure you have:
- Verified your identity
- Added your bank account information
After the order is completed, the money will be moved into your Available Balance. This may take up to 1 working day for FPX payments or as fast as 2 minutes for credit/debit card payments.
For the order to be completed, your buyer has to tap on 'I have received the item'. Otherwise, it'll also be auto-completed after 9 days, from the day that the seller taps on 'Item mailed out'.
It takes between 1-3 working days for the money to be transferred to your bank account.
Working days : Monday to Friday, exclude weekend and public holiday.
When will the money be available to transfer to my bank account?
The money will be available to transfer to bank account when these 4 conditions are met:
- Buyer has tapped "l have received my item" ;
- No ongoing dispute between you and the buyer;
- Funds available in your Balance;
- You have completed the identity verification and added bank account details
