Do I have to pay to use CarouPay?
For payments that are made via debit/credit card, buyers will have to pay a Third Party Service Fee of 2% + SGD 0.10 on top of their purchase.
For instance, if the item you are purchasing is $100, you will have to pay a total of $102.10.
For payments made with DBS PayLah! on CarouPay, this payment fee is waived. Upon submitting your order request, simply choose DBS PayLah! to enjoy zero fees!
As a seller, CarouPay is 100% free with 0% fees for sellers, with no extra charges on your successful CarouPay transactions.
Now you will be able to reach out to a wider pool of serious buyers who are looking for trustable sellers. Carousell won't take a cut for any transaction, 100% of your earnings made via CarouPay belong to you.
What is Third Party Service fee?
All CarouPay transactions in Carousell are supported by Stripe, our third party service provider for online payments. Thus, a Third Party Service Fee, previously known as "Payment Fee", will be charged for each transaction you make via CarouPay in order to process your payments by credit card.
The Third Party Service Fee is waived for payments made via DBS PayLah!.
Carousell does not earn from any fees incurred by your CarouPay transaction.

What is the $0.50 charge when I add my credit card?
You will receive an authorisation charge of SGD 0.50 from the bank when you link your credit/debit card for good standing. Don't worry, this amount won't actually be charged and will not reflect in your bank statement.
