Posting a Service on Carousell

Listing a Service on Carousell is easy and effective! Here's how you can quickly get your services seen by potential customers on the Carousell marketplace.

Mobile app

Download the Carousell app from the app store and sign up for an account. Verify your account by clicking on the link in an email sent to you.

  1. Launch the app
  2. Select "+" icon (iOS) or "Sell" (Android) 
  3. Take photo on the spot or select a picture from your gallery that best conveys the service you want to advertise. You may also choose to use a picture of your company logo or shop. Insert up to 4 photos for your ad!
  4. Under category, select the "Services" category -> "Type of Service" you are offering.
  5. Fill in all relevant details in the listing form. be sure to include important details such as Service description, price, lead time and indicate the specific service in the listing title.
  6. Select "List it" to create a draft service listing.

 

Publishing your service listing

  1. Next, you will be prompted with a confirmation to pay and publish your listing with Carousell coins. Tap on "Publish" to proceed. 
  2. If you do not sufficient coins to publish your service listings, select a coin bundle to make an in app purchase via our iOS or Android app.
  • Listing fees for Service will apply for the following Services Sub-categories @ 1000 Carousell coins (valued at S$10)
    • Home Services > Movers & Delivery
    • Home Services > Renovations
    • Home Services > Home Repairs
    • Beauty Services > All sub categories
    • Tuition

* Each service listing will last for 30 days with an option for re-insertion on expiry.

 

Receiving enquiries 

Once your listing is live, interested customers can now send you a chat via the app about your service. A push notification will be sent to your phone. Follow up quickly and easily by sending a reply through the in-app chat!

Alternatively, messages from the app are also automatically forwarded to your email for you to reply directly from. Remember to delete your email signature as your replies will be forwarded as a chat to the user in the chat.  You'll never miss a lead again.

Carousell Web

Go to www.carousell.com and click top right button to sign up for an account. Verify your account by clicking on the link in an email sent to you.

  1. Select "Sell" at the top right hand corner of the page 
  2. Select a picture from your gallery that best conveys the service you want to advertise. If your photo is too large, you will be prompted to resize it. Insert up to 4 photos for your ad! 
  3. After you've selected each photo, select the green "Save" icon found on the photo preview box
  4. Under category, select the "Services" category -> "Type of Service" you are offering.
  5. Fill in all relevant details in the listing form. be sure to include important details such as Service description, price, lead time and indicate the specific service in the listing title.
  6. Select "List it" to create a draft service listing.

If you are unable to select "List it!", check if you have filled in all the necessary fields. You will be prompted with an error message.

 

Publishing your job listing

  1. Next, you will be prompted with a confirmation to pay and publish your listing with Carousell coins. Tap on "Publish" to proceed. 
  2. If you do not sufficient coins in your account to publish your job listings, tap on buy more coins and make a purchase via credit card or PayPal through our web form.
  3. After your coins have been credited (within 3 working days), come back to publish your job listing from your profile. Log in, select "Profile" from the first icon on the top left of your screen and tap publish on the draft listing you want to make live.
