How can I get featured/recommended on Carousell?

Carousell is made up of many hard-working, friendly sellers who put lots of time and effort into making Carousell the community that it is today. To give recognition to this awesome bunch, we pick sellers and their items to be featured on our collection banners from time to time.

There are so many great sellers that we aren't able to feature everyone! However, the great news is that everyone is eligible to be featured, and we hope that we can feature you at some point.

Sellers do not submit their shops or items to us to be featured, neither do we accept submissions for a feature. Rather, the Carousell Curation Team combs the marketplace regularly to curate great items and shops, depending on the theme of the collection.

Here are some things you can do to increase your chances of being picked for a feature:

  1. Make sure your photos are awesome!
This is so very important when pitching your shop for a feature. Photos are the first thing our team will look at during curation so always make sure that they're well-lit, clean, crisp and beautiful.
  2. Work on your listing descriptions
Quality of your listing is key when selling on Carousell so make sure to describe your items clearly and transparently. Accurate descriptions also make your listings more searchable and easier for shoppers (and the Carousell team!) to find in the marketplace.
  3. Price your items accurately
List your items at reasonable prices and try not to price your items at $0.
  4. Abide by Community Guidelines
Don't sell anything that is prohibited, and make sure your listing descriptions don't include tags or keywords that are unrelated.
  5. Have great community feedback
A happy community is always something we strive for on Carousell, so lots of positive feedback doesn't hurt! Replying to neutral and negative feedback to help smooth out sticky situations also helps to boost your credibility as a seller. Always be courteous, kind and gracious to all community members.
  6. Be an active member of the Carousell community
While numbers of page views, likes and comments aren't entirely indicative of your quality and credibility as a seller, having more of them definitely helps us to notice you quicker. Don't forget to Share and Promote your listings and your Carousell profile on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram too!

Always remember that we're always on the lookout for awesome sellers to feature on the marketplace, both old and new, so don't lose hope if you're not selected this time! Check out more awesome selling tips right here.
