What can I do as an admin for a Group?
Group admins are empowered to keep the quality of the Group awesome!
Here are some things that Group admins can do to help manage the community:
- Remove irrelevant listings from group
- Select "•••" on the listing
- Select "Remove from Group" to remove the listing from Group
- Appoint users as moderators to help manage the Group
- Select "•••" in Group (top right-hand corner)
- Select "Manage Group"
- Select "Members"
- Search and select the user
- Select "Appoint as Moderator"
- Remove or block users from the Group
There are 2 ways to block/remove users from a Group.
Through listing in the Group
- Select "•••" on the listing
- Select "Block user from Group"
Through "Manage Group"
- Select "more" icon in Group (below Group's cover photo)
- Select "Manage Group"
- Select "Members"
- Search and select the user
- Select either "Remove from Group" or "Block user from Group"
- Unblock previously blocked users
- Select "•••" in Group (top right-hand corner)
- Select "Manage Group"
- Select "Blocked Users"
- Search and select the user
- Select "Unblock"
- You'll be prompted to confirm your decision to unblock the user
- Edit Group Info
- Select "•••" in Group (top right-hand corner)
- Select "Manage Group"
- Select "Edit Group Info"
- Edit "Group Title", "Group Description" or cover photo of the Group
- Select "Save" the submit changes
How do I become an admin for a group?
To be considered for the role of a Group admin, there are several criteria. They include
- Account reputation
- Enthusiasm for the role
- History of listings
Group Admins are also appointed on a rotational basis, depending on the Group’s needs.
